I decided to make this one pretty mellow..
I like the way she came out.
Did you know that it's easier to spot flaws in your work if you flip it horizontally for a minute or two? If you take the time to do this, it'll improve the balance of your work. I really love that trick. It has helped me learn so much.

She looks like Fuu from Samurai Champloo very slightly, because that's what I was watching when I drew this.

I'm tired.
huuurrrrrrr

Enjoy!

If you could have your way, no one would wear shirts, would they?

if you have a lightbox that makes it a lot easier, especially when it's hard to find a good enough light to look at it with :)

I use that trick all the time when I do something digitally - I flip every 30 minutes to make sure it's coming along

also, I adore the coloring - she looks serene

I made a lightbox just recently, actually. :D It only cost $13 and I love it to death! Haha!
I usually just lift my drawing up to the light because I'm a bastard.

My art instructor once told me to flip your work upside down because if it is proportioned properly, it will make as much sense upside down as right side up. really good advice! I love this piece, by the way...its adorable!

It's the best advice I've ever heard! I usually like to hold my drawing up to the light from the back to see if it looks alright, hehe.

Thank you so much. <3
